MailBot Privacy Policy

  1. MailBot

    MailBot is an application for email management developed by Mailfeed Inc. for use on Slack platform. By using MailBot or any of the services owned by Mailfeed Inc., you are accepting practices outlined in this policy.
  2. About your Privacy

    At Mailfeed, your privacy is very important to us. We are dedicated to providing you with exceptional service while protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information. MailBot DOES NOT STORE your messages or contacts on any third party servers. Mailfeed store the following data from Gmail: email address, refresh token (auth token). Mailfeed stores the following data from Slack: userID, channelID, oauth Token.
  3. Personal information

    Your personal information is collected to meet one or several of the following requirements:
    • To provide service of delivering your Gmail messages to your Slack channel.
    • To manage your access to the services provided.
    • To send emails, entreaties and promotional advertisements. If you would not wish to receive these, we offer you the - option to unsubscribe of any promotional material you receive.
    • To manage customer’s opinions on products, services or contents.
  4. Non-personal information

    We collect technical information when you use MailBot. In today's world, technology based on some non-personal information that almost always gets created and recorded in an automated way and often helps application and websites to analyze their users' behavior and trends, improve user experience as well as administer the website or service. When you use MailBot, we collect such information. The information and ways we may use to collect it described bellow:
    Log Data: When you use MailBot, our application automatically record information about your interaction with our product.
    Cookies: Depending on how you’re accessing our products, we may use HTML, HTTP or Flash “cookies” to identify you and record log data. When we use cookies, we may use “session” cookies (that last until you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (that last until you or your browser deletes them). For example, we may use cookies to keep you logged in or to store your language preferences or other settings so you don’t have to set them up every time you visit MailBot.
    Device Information: In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using MailBot on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you’re using, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you’re using and its settings. For example, different types of information are available depending on whether you’re using a Mac or a PC, or an iPhone or an Android phone.   5. How do we use information we collect?

    How Do We Use Personally Identifiable Information (PII)? We use the PII we request at registration in order to provide you with the services offered in MailBot application. We store the email address and token to connect your Gmail account to your Slack channel, but we do not store any other PII, . All PII is used strictly to provide our service to you. Any optional personal information that you supply to us when you use our website or MailBot, your name, mailing address, telephone number, and any optional personal information that you are asked to enter while authorizing MailBot to access you email account(s) is not stored and/or kept by Mailfeed.
    All information provided by you to Mailfeed Inc. is strictly confidential and we will almost never release any personal information about you without your permission. However, Mailfeed reserves the right to release your information if you have violated the Mailfeeds Terms of Service, or if the information is subpoenaed, in order to protect safety of MailBot users.
    We may use some non-personal information to help us understand how you use the MailBot and how we can improve our service for other users. Such use of non-personal information is a standard practice for most mobile applications and services and we will always exercise great caution when sharing such information with our partners, such as Google or Slack when using services they provide to us, to help serve you better.
  6. Sharing Personal and Non-Personal Information with others?

    Mailfeed Inc. is not in the business of selling client lists or personal information to others. In providing our services, we may need to disclose the Non-personal information we collect to affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and other service providers or agents who perform various functions for us.
  7. Protect your data and information?

    MailBot service was designed and built from the ground up with data security as a top priority. MailBot complies with all of the security standards employed by your email service providers to keep your information secure.
  8. Important things to keep in mind:

    Your Consent: By using MailBot you consent to your information being collected, used and transferred as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Information transferred to or stored in the United States may be subject to access requests from U.S. governments, courts, law enforcement officials and national security authorities in the United States according to United States laws.
    13 and Up: If you are under the age of 13, we're sorry, but you can't use MailBot. On the bright side, MailBot will never knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, his or her parent or guardian may contact us for the purpose of deleting this information.
    Changing Our Policy: This Privacy Policy is subject to change. We will prominently post a notice on the Web Site when there are material changes in the way we treat PII. You should periodically check back and review this Privacy Policy so that you always will know what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it.
